Background That Shaped the Work

Joel's Marine Corps background shaped his respect for discipline, readiness, accountability, communication, decision-making, and learning before leading. His infantry experience included fire direction and mortarman responsibilities, along with leadership development focused on operational awareness and problem solving under pressure.

Field Leadership and Real-World Responsibility

Joel's construction management work sharpened his understanding of field coordination, schedules, crews, subcontractors, logistics, safety, quality, field execution, and accountability when pressure is high. His field experience includes coordination and sequencing across complex commercial projects, including education facilities and award-recognized community work.

One public example is the Jersey Meadow Golf Course Clubhouse project, recognized by Golf Inc. Magazine's 2025 Clubhouse of the Year recognition, where his field responsibilities included erection sequencing and field design support.
